We are delighted to announce a successful partnership with ESG specialist TDi Sustainability. The partnership is centered around a new ESG training programme for buy side equity research analysts covering ESG integration for 10 different sectors.
TDi Sustainability is a purpose-driven sustainability consulting firm that provides advisory services on social responsibility, environmental standards development, corporate risk management and sustainability strategies.
TDi Sustainability works with companies across sectors and at various stages of the supply chain.
Together, we successfully launched an ESG training service in early 2023, combining the fundamental equity research training expertise from Denny Ellison with the ESG consultancy know-how of TDi Sustainability.
The ESG training programme addresses some key skills gaps for mainstream analysts when it comes to ESG:
- How to make sense of the information provided by third-party ESG research houses;
- What specific factors to focus on within environmental, social and governance issues;
- How to cater the ESG analysis to a specific sector; and
- How to integrate an ESG analysis into company forecasts, valuation and into an investment case.
We look at ESG considerations on a sector-by-sector basis, and offer tools and frameworks for equity analysts to integrate ESG into their fundamental research, rather than preach a specific way of conducting sustainable research.
