Gillian Elcock was a co-facilitator at a “Careers in Finance Boot Camp” for a business school in France last month.

I worked with Avenir Associates to put together an interview preparation workshop for some of the students in the HEC MBA program. Avenir Associates was joined by CDO Management for this event.

The workshop included an overview of the jobs available in finance, and the skills required; guidance on how students should structure their job search; a CV and cover letter clinic; and technical interview preparation. There were also group mock interview sessions.

The weekend received very positive reviews overall from the students that participated.

HEC is one of the top business schools in Europe, and I was delighted to be invited to take part in this event and to interact with the MBA students.
