Research

The research business is targeted for launch in Q1 2011.

Denny Ellison provides bespoke research to asset management companies, using a network of freelance equity research analysts. The research is completely independent and tailored expressly to our clients’ needs.

We offer access to highly qualified and experienced analysts who will provide our clients with the research they require at any particular moment.  This might range from a full company report to a financial model to a simple buy/sell opinion.  Analysts can use any frameworks, methodologies, or valuation metrics that the client prefers, and can provide the research in a particular format, if required.

Our service is cost effective, as payment is made on a per report basis, with no subscription or other fees.

For analysts, we offer the flexibility to work when they want on research projects that interest them and match their expertise.

Denny Ellison has no trading, investing, or investment banking operations. We are paid solely by fees from our clients.

Consulting

Denny Ellison provides tailored, one-on-one consulting for people who are interested in careers in equity research, on either the buy side or the sell side. We are not a search firm, but rather our aim is to prepare our clients thoroughly for their equity research interviews so that they can do extremely well, with the ultimate aim of getting the jobs they want. We coach you on what to expect and how to prepare.

Our services include:

• Descriptions of the different types of interviews you are likely to encounter
• Detailed guidance on how to prepare for your equity research interviews
• Interview practice – we do a mock interview and you are provided with feedback on your performance
• Advice on how to get interviews
• CV and cover letter review
